dc.descriptionThe paper analyzes the possibilities of applying linguistic research methods in the modern evolutionary-informational-phenomenological paradigm, and determines the relevance of traditional approaches for scientific research in this paradigm. The concept of evolutionary linguistics includes the comparative and historical, genealogical linguistics and language evolution. Natural language processing through the prism of artificial information systems falls under the “umbrella” of the information field, and the creation of lexicographic systems and linguistic corpora is a part of the phenomenological field. This approach to the modern linguistic paradigm ensures further development of both the humanitarian tradition in linguistics and the technological status of language. At the same time, a new awareness of the modern paradigm of linguistic research requires some clarification of methods and approaches to the object of one’s study. This is the topicality of this study. The purpose of the proposed study is to identify and describe the methods of linguistic research classified by S. I. Doroshenko, that are suitable for scientific investigation in the modern scientific paradigm. The objectives of the work are: to establish the system of linguistic research methods proposed by S. I. Doroshenko, to clarify the role and possibilities of these methods for language research at a new stage of linguistics development, to determine the role of the comparative method described by S. I. Doroshenko for the further development of national linguistic comparativistics. The article establishes that the classification of methods developed by S. I. Doroshenko at the beginning of our century is still relevant for the latest scientific research. On the example of the comparative method definition formulated by S. I. Doroshenko, it is proved that the system of views of the scientist on the linguistic methods was to some extent anticipatory for the national science. S. I. Doroshenko’s works, performed in the spirit of the Kharkiv School of Linguistics, enable us to assert that, to a certain extent, thanks to them, national linguistics is equipped with the necessary tools, in particular, modern research methods that help to carry out comprehensive surveys of its object, which is the language as the perfect information system. We see the perspective of the study in constructing a holistic picture of linguistic research methods, taking into account traditional approaches for scientific research in the modern evolutionary, informational and phenomenological paradigmen_US
dc.description.abstractУ статті проаналізовано можливості застосування методів лінгвістичних досліджень у руслі сучасної еволюційно-інформаційно-феноменологічної парадигми, з’ясовано актуальність традиційних підходів для наукових пошуків у цій парадигмі. Доведено, що класифікація методів, розроблена С. І. Дорошенком на початку ХХІ століття, виявляється актуальною для новітніх наукових досліджень. На прикладі дефініції зіставного методу, сформульованого С. І. Дорошенком, простежено, що система поглядів ученого на лінгвістичні методи мала певною мірою випереджувальний характер для вітчизняної науки.uk_UA
