Abstracts of the report of the participant of the 31st EAA Annual Meeting (2-6 September 2025, Belgrade Virtual). This study presents the results of recent archaeological excavations at the Malyi Vystorop hillfort in the Sumy region of Ukraine, a site dated to the transition between the 6th and 5th centuries BC based on Greek amphorae imports. Over two years of active research, the site’s internal layout has been mapped, revealing a complex fortification system that stands in contrast to its sparse population density. A central focus of the investigation is a specialized production building, where findings suggest the presence of advanced metallurgy and potential jewelry-making activities.en_US
