dc.description.abstractУ статті проаналізовано кириличний рукопис богословської праці Йоана Дамаскіна з фондів Національної бібліотеки України імені В. І. Вернадського. Пам’ятка походить зі збірки Києво-Софійського монастиря, давно введена у науковий обіг і відома дослідникам. Підготовку редакції твору, що постала внаслідок доповнення тексту за латинським та грецьким виданням, пов’язують з волинським гуртком російського емігранта князя А. М. Курбського в Миляновичах чи в Ковелі, і вона отримала статус одного з нечисленних автографів цього книжного осередка. Рукопис написано кількома канцелярськими курсивними почерками, характерними для тогочасної руськомовної ділової документації з українських теренів. Пам’ятка містить сліди редакційної, перекладацької і коментаторської роботи в незавершеній стадії. Комплекс її кодикологічних, текстологічних і філігранологічних ознак насуває питання про ще один книжний осередок 1570-х — 1580-х рр., вірогідно, на волинських теренах, відмінний від гуртка Курбського, учасники якого займалися перекладом і редагуванням найпопулярніших богословських праць. Було здійснено спробу зблизити рукопис за характером написання з канцелярською документацією, зокрема, з Володимирськими ґродськими книгами, а також виявити інші рукописні пам’ятки, близькі до нього за тематикою, часом та формою написання. У ширшому контексті дослідження особливостей рукопису Йоана Дамаскіна та інших пам’яток спонукає до постановки питання про те, чи не постали ці тексти в процесі функціонування тогочасних освітніх осередків у канцелярському середовищі.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article considers Cyrillic manuscript of John Damascene’s theological work of the 1570–1580s from the funds of V. I. Vernadsky National library of Ukraine. This artifact came from Kyiv St. Sophia monastery collection, was introduced into scientific circulation long time ago, and is well known among researchers. The preparation of this edition of John Damascene’s theological work widely spread in Orthodox community and amended with text additions according to the Latin and Greek edition, is considered to be connected with Russian emigrant Prince A. M. Kurbsky’s activity. Despite that, the codex studies still have lacunas, because according to a complex of features and analogy to the manuscript of Symeon the Metaphrast, the writing of the codex in question should be attributed directly to Volhynia circle of Russian emigrant A. M. Kurbsky in Mylianovychi or in Kovel, and it should be given a status of one of the few autographs of this scholarly center. The manuscript was written by several chancery cursive handwritings, common for the Rus-language commercial documentation of that time, from Ukrainian lands as well. The artifact contains traces of unfinished proofreading, translation, and commenting. The complex of its codicology, textology, filigranology studies raises a question of identification of a scholarly center, other than A. M. Kurbsky’s one. This center functioned in the 1570–1580s, apparently on Volhynia territory, and its members would deal with translation and proofreading of the most prominent theological works, rewriting them with the professional scribe’s handwritings. Considering the character of writing, the attempt was made to assimilate this manuscript to chancery documentation, for instance with Volodymyr Grodsk’s books. In addition, we tried to find more manuscript artifacts with a similar topic, time, and form of writing. In a wider context, the exploration of John Damascene’s manuscript and other artifacts features leads to posing the question whether these texts were created during the work process of the educational centers (proto-schools) in the chancery circle of that time.en_US
