In Chapter 1, we will examine underpinnings of the criticism of international law to situate our research into the wider theoretical debate. Chapter 2 will be devoted to understanding the concept of external outcasting as well as its origins and limitations. In Chapter 3 we will visit previous academic efforts to assess outcasting regime imposed on Russia and define the research gap. In Chapter 4 situates external outcasting of Russia into legal history perspective as a pivotal development of the prohibition on the use of force. The ultimate goal of this thesis is to present a new Ukrainian vision of human rights public diplomacy based on a holistic approach where each sector`s voice and expertise matters.
