dc.descriptionThis article explores the macroeconomic implications of Ukraine’s shift toward a circular economy and assesses how adopting circular production and consumption models affects productivity, economic growth, and the resilience of national recovery. The study emphasizes the role of national strategies, institutional initiatives, and European support programs in creating the framework conditions for circular transformation in the post-war reconstruction context. The research methodology combines structural macroeconomic analysis, comparative evaluation of policy strategies, assessment of the institutional environment, and a review of empirical studies on resource efficiency, industrial modernization, and sustainable growth. To evaluate the effects of circular practices on productivity, the study considers structural production changes, technological advancements, reductions in transaction costs, and the adoption of innovative closed-loop models. Findings indicate that the circular economy can act as a critical driver of Ukraine’s strategic economic recovery by boosting productivity through optimized resource utilization, improved technological efficiency, and decreased environmental and raw-material risks. Analysis of national policies and international programs shows that the policy framework for circular transition exists, yet effective implementation requires enhanced institutional coordination, innovation incentives, and support for industrial modernization. Integrating circular models into macroeconomic policy can strengthen economic resilience, promote production diversification, and facilitate closer integration with the European economic space. The study concludes that transitioning to a circular economy offers substantial long-term macroeconomic benefits, including higher productivity, lower resource dependency, and increased competitiveness. Recommendations are provided for policy and institutional mechanisms to accelerate the circular transition and ensure its sustainable impact on economic development.en_US

Аналізуємо роль національних стратегій, інституційних ініціатив і європейських програм, що створюють умови для циркулярної трансформації післявоєнної економіки. Методологія поєднує структурний макроекономічний аналіз, порівняння політичних стратегій та огляд емпіричних досліджень у сферах ресурсоефективності, промислової модернізації та зеленого зростання. Розглядаються зміни у структурі виробництва, технологічні зрушення, скорочення транзакційних витрат і впровадження інноваційних замкнених циклів.uk_UA
