Abstract
In Ukrainian educational institutions, there has been an increasing discussion of non-binary identities among students. This topic reflects societal challenges to traditional binary gender norms and emphasises the importance of inclusivity. By definition, non-binary individuals do not identify exclusively as male or female; instead, they may identify a gender identity that is fluid, falls outside the binary, or is a mix of both. As educational institutions aim to create environments that are safe, mutually respectful, and supportive for all students [1], the need to address the specific needs of non-binary students has become increasingly important.
