dc.descriptionThe article explores the conditions and psychological characteristics of students' activities on the global network. It highlights that contemporary research primarily focuses on the phenomenology and patterns of problematic Internet use, while considerably less attention is given to the processes of productive, successful, and creative engagement online. However, within the context of the global network, the issue of productive and creative activity proves to be both theoretically significant and practically relevant, as such activity becomes the primary and defining mode of engagement on the global network. To address the nature of productive activity, the concept of cyberspace is examined in detail. The concept of cyberspace is essential for capturing the novel human experience shaped by the Internet, online networks, and the use of modern information and communication technologies. It provides a framework for understanding how digital environments influence human activity, interaction, and creativity. The article examines the psychological dimensions of cyberspace as conceptualized by John Suler. These include the reduction of sensory experience, interaction through textbased exchange, identity flexibility, abstraction or emptying of ideas, equality of status and opportunity, transcendence of physical space, temporal relativity, multiplicity of social roles, recordability of online content, and sudden disruptions in communication. The analysis, enriched with new substantive characteristics, aims to develop a renewed conceptual understanding of cyberspace. The article introduces and substantiates novel psychological dimensions of cyberspace — both "light" and "dark"— and lays the groundwork for a conceptual model of students' productive activity within the global network. This model serves as a foundation for conducting an empirical investigation into the nature and dynamics of students’ productive engagement on the global network.en_US
dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджуються умови та психологічні характеристики діяльності студентів у глобальній мережі. Підкреслюється, що сучасні дослідження в першу чергу зосереджені на феноменології та моделях проблемного використання Інтернету, тоді як значно менше уваги приділяється процесам продуктивної, успішної та творчої взаємодії в Інтернеті. Однак у контексті глобальної мережі питання продуктивної та творчої діяльності виявляється як теоретично значущим, так і практично актуальним, оскільки така діяльність стає основним та визначальним способом взаємодії. Для розгляду природи продуктивної діяльності детально розглядається концепція кіберпростору. Концепція кіберпростору є важливою для охоплення нового людського досвіду, сформованого Інтернетом, онлайн-мережами та використанням сучасних інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій. Вона забезпечує основу для розуміння того, як цифрове середовище впливає на людську діяльність, взаємодію та творчість. У статті розглядаються психологічні виміри кіберпростору, як їх концептуалізував Джон Сулер. До них належать редукція сенсорного досвіду, взаємодія як обмін текстами, мінлива ідентичність, спустошення уявлень, рівність статусів та можливостей, трансценденція простору, часова відносність, множинність соціальних ролей, фіксованість, несподівані розриви комунікації. Аналіз, збагачений новими змістовними характеристиками, має на меті розробити оновлене концептуальне розуміння кіберпростору. У статті представлено та обґрунтовано нові психологічні виміри кіберпростору —як "світлі", так і "темні" — і закладено основу для концептуальної моделі продуктивної діяльності студентів у глобальній мережі. Ця модель слугує основою для проведення емпіричного дослідження природи та динаміки продуктивної участі студентів в глобальній мережі. uk_UA
