dc.description.abstractОсновним завданням публікації є з’ясування походження та атрибуція ікони Києво-Братської Богородиці з колекції Національного музею історії України, що є списком шанованого чудотворного образа Києва від середини XVII ст. З цією метою наведено і прокоментовано матеріали музейно-облікової документації та здійснено мистецтвознавчу експертизу й контекстуальні порівняння з іншими творами. На основі проведеного дослідження автором з'ясовано походження ікони з теренів Полтавщини та висловлено кілька гіпотез про “київський родовід” майстра ікони, її створення у першій чверті XVIII ст. та безпосередню залежність від оригінального іконографічного прототипу.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this article is to explore the origin and attribution of the Kyiv-Brotherhood Virgin Mary icon preserved in the collection of the National Museum of Ukrainian History. This icon is a copy of a legendary miraculous image from the mid-17th century. The author commented on the museum records, conducted expert evaluation of the icon, and compared it to the other icons created at the same period. The author claims that the icon originated from the Poltava region suggests several hypotheses about the Kyiv origin of the artist, and puts forward a hypothesis about its creation in the first quarter of the eighteenth century as well as its direct following the patterns of the original iconographic prototype.en_US
